    SCWO celebrates Lunar New Year 2023 with Lo Hei and Presidents’ Forum

    Thirty member organisations gathered at SCWO on Saturday, 4th February for the Presidents’ Forum and Lo Hei to welcome the Year of the Rabbit!  The Presidents’ Forum is a valuable opportunity for presidents of SCWO member organisations to meet and connect with like-minded organisations.     Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations appoints new CEO

    Singapore, 3 Jan 2023 – The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) has appointed Ms Koh Yan Ping as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 3 Jan 2023. Ms Koh takes over from Ms Angel Chan, who is relocating overseas with her family.  Prior to joining SCWO, Ms Koh was the Deputy Director of the Women and Family unit (WAF) at the National Trades Union Congress, the labour movement’s initiative to support working women in Singapore through advocacy and programmes. Ms Koh was concurrently Deputy Director at the Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute, an established centre for labour education and training in Singapore.    At WAF, Ms Koh spearheaded…
