@ Star Shelter * Babysitter * Tutor * Read to the children * Teach or facilitate activities in the shelter (eg. art and craft classes) * Run a workshop, e.g. dance or yoga, at the shelter @ Library * Assorted jobs depending on commitment level and experience (eg. Labelling, sorting, cataloging, research ) @ New2U Thrift Shop * Volunteers who are able to manage shop and cash register from 10.30pm to 2.30pm
@ IT Hub * Teach students how to utilize existing resources e.g. MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint

YWCA: “Hungry No More” Volunteers Free dinners are delivered Mon-Fri, to children from low-income families and free lunches for needy, frail &/or homebound senior citizens. Volunteers need to donate and deliver dry rations to these families. For more information, click here. AWARE : Befriender and Helpline Volunteers Every month the AWARE Helpline gets an average of 260 calls from women struggling with some problem – domestic abuse, immigration and other legal obstacles, or who simply need to talk and be heard. If you have empathy and would like to support women who need help, you’re just what we need.
