Panel 1: Redefining Work: Building Systems That Work for Women How do we move Singapore's employment ecosystem from baseline compliance to genuine inclusion? Acknowledging major milestones like the Workplace Fairness Act and Tripartite Guidelines on Flexible Work Arrangement Requests, this session dives into the systemic reforms still required to dismantle hiring biases and protect vulnerable talent pipelines. Join us as we examine how the government, communities, and employers must collaborate to build systems that support women's career aspirations. |

Panel 2: Redefining Work: Beyond the Linear Career Path A successful career lifecycle is rarely a straight line. As women embrace diverse pathways across different life stages, society must move away from rigid corporate timelines. We discuss how to destigmatize career breaks, support women entrepreneurs, and redefine the "ideal career". Crucially, we look at how gender-balanced caregiving can impact career paths of not only women but men. |

Breakout Session 1 As workplaces evolve, leaders play a critical role in shaping fair, inclusive and merit-based hiring practices. In this session, TAFEP will discuss how the upcoming Workplace Fairness Act (WFA) supports fair recruitment and what organisations can do to prepare. Through real-world scenarios, participants will explore how bias can affect hiring decisions and learn practical ways to strengthen recruitment processes. Participants will leave with practical insights to build fair and consistent hiring systems aligned with Singapore's workplace fairness standards. |

Breakout Session 2 Career breaks are a reality for many women, but returning to work should not mean starting over. Together with partners Daughters of Tomorrow (DOT), Mums@Work, Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA), SG Her Empowerment (SHE) and Singapore Muslim Women's Association (PPIS), this session examines the return-to-work journey from both employee and employer perspectives. Rather than asking women to fit back into the careers they left, the discussion explores what it looks like to build pathways around the non-linear journeys women are actually on. |
