TITLE:                            Manager, Fundraising & Partnerships

The Manager, Fundraising & Partnerships supports SCWO’s resource mobilisation and partnership initiatives through hands-on management of fundraising campaigns, charity events, grant applications, and donor engagement, with a particular focus on cultivating corporate sponsors, family offices, and grant-making foundations. The role ensures the smooth execution of projects that generate revenue, strengthen partnerships, and enhance SCWO’s visibility and mission impact.


The Manager works closely with the Head, Fundraising & Partnerships to implement fundraising strategies, maintain donor and partner relationships — particularly across corporate, family office, and foundation channels — and contribute to the organisation’s overall growth and sustainability.


Key Responsibilities

 

Fundraising & Grant Management

  • Support the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of corporate sponsors, donors, and funding bodies, including family offices and private/corporate foundations.
  • Prepare sponsorship proposals, grant applications, and fundraising materials, tailored to the priorities and reporting requirements of corporate and foundation funders.
  • Track fundraising pipeline and assist in monitoring progress toward revenue targets, segmented by funder type (corporate, family office, foundation, individual) where relevant.
  • Contribute to setting and achieving annual fundraising targets across corporate, foundation, and event revenue streams.
  • Maintain and update the donor/funder CRM or tracking system, ensuring pipeline data is current and accessible for reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor and sponsor engagements, contributions, and agreements, including grant conditions, reporting deadlines, and renewal timelines.
  • Ensure proposals and agreements are routed through appropriate internal approval processes.
  • Ensure sponsorship and grant agreements comply with SCWO’s governance and engagement policies.

Fundraising Events & Campaigns

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute charity fundraising events, including logistics, vendor management, marketing, and donor relations.
  • Support proposal costing and event budget tracking to ensure financial accountability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Membership, Direct Services, Programmes) to maximise the impact and visibility of events and campaigns.
  • Collect and analyse event outcomes to inform future initiatives and reporting to management.

Partnerships & Donor Engagement

  • Support partnership development initiatives by liaising with corporate partners, foundations, and community organisations, with emphasis on building and sustaining relationships with family offices and grant-making bodies.
  • Coordinate with retail operations (e.g. New2U) where fundraising initiatives intersect with in-kind donations or corporate CSR partnerships.
  • Assist in donor stewardship activities, including impact reporting, recognition, and regular communications.
  • Respond to donor queries and provide excellent service to maintain strong, ongoing relationships.
  • This role covers corporate, family office, foundation, event-based, and individual giving fundraising.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognised degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 4–6 years of relevant experience in fundraising, corporate engagement, partnerships, or event management, preferably in the non-profit or social impact sector.
  • Experience in planning and executing fundraising events or campaigns is required.
  • Experience in grant writing, sponsorship proposals, or donor engagement is highly desirable, particularly experience engaging corporate donors, family offices, or foundations.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Open for Singaporean or PR only.
