TITLE:                            Manager, Membership

DEPARTMENT:               Programmes and Engagement

REPORTS TO:                 Head, Programmes and Engagement

The Manager, Membership is responsible for the effective management and development of the organisation’s membership portfolio. The role oversees membership administration, engagement initiatives and capability-building efforts to strengthen collaboration among member organisations.

This position plays a key role in reinforcing the organisation’s mandate as a national coordinating body by fostering active participation, shared learning and strategic partnerships across the network.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Administration

  • Manage the full membership lifecycle including applications, onboarding, renewals and exits
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the membership database and records
  • Handle member enquiries and provide timely administrative support
  • Prepare membership reports and updates for management and Board
  • Support governance processes relating to membership matters

 Member Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as primary liaison for member organisations
  • Develop and implement annual member engagement plans
  • Plan and execute member events, briefings and networking sessions
  • Facilitate joint community engagement initiatives with partners, government agencies and ministries
  • Encourage and coordinate member participation in organisational programmes and consultations

Capability Building & Community of Practice

  • Design and implement capability-building programmes for member organisations
  • Facilitate peer learning platforms and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Support the development of a community of practice focused on advancing women’s development
  • Gather feedback to inform programme and advocacy priorities

Strategic Collaboration & Partnerships

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partners to support member engagement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders relevant to membership programmes
  • Work closely with Communications & Partnerships and Research & Advocacy to ensure alignment and synergy

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams to harmonise engagement efforts across the organisation
  • Support integration of member insights into programme design and advocacy work
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of flagship events where member participation is key

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public policy, communications, business or related field
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, membership management or programme coordination
  • Experience in NGO, association or public sector environment preferred
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable engaging senior representatives of member organisations

TITLE:                            Manager, Research & Advocacy

DEPARTMENT:               Research & Advocacy

REPORTS TO:                 Director, Research & Advocacy

 

The Manager, Research & Advocacy supports SCWO’s research, policy, and advocacy initiatives by managing day-to-day research projects, drafting policy briefs, and coordinating advocacy efforts. The role works closely with the Director to translate strategic priorities into actionable outputs, providing high-quality research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement that advance SCWO’s mission of promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Research & Policy Support

  • Assist in planning and executing research projects, ensuring robust methodology and high-quality outputs.
  • Draft and review policy briefs, position papers, reports, and other research materials for internal and external dissemination.
  • Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and evidence synthesis to inform SCWO’s advocacy and programmes.
  • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for policy, advocacy, and programme development.

 Advocacy & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Support the development and implementation of advocacy initiatives for SCWO’s NGO Workgroups.
  • Assist in liaising with government agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders to advance SCWO’s policy objectives.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder consultations, workshops, and engagement activities.

Project & Programme Management

  • Plan and manage multiple research and advocacy projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Track project progress, prepare updates for the Director, and ensure alignment with departmental priorities.
  • Support the preparation of submissions, briefing notes, and reports for boards, committees, and stakeholders.

International Relations Support

  • Assist in planning and coordinating SCWO’s international engagements and collaborations.
  • Support the drafting of reports, presentations, and correspondence for international forums and partner organisations.

 Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognised degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Gender Studies, International Relations, Economics, Law, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
  • At least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in research, policy, advocacy, or public affairs, preferably in the non-profit, advocacy, or public sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy research, report writing, and evidence-based analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore’s socio-political and policy landscape.
  • Experience working with government agencies, civil society organisations, or international bodies is advantageous.

TITLE:                            Manager, Fundraising & Partnerships

The Manager, Fundraising & Partnerships supports SCWO’s resource mobilisation and partnership initiatives through hands-on management of fundraising campaigns, charity events, grant applications, and donor engagement. The role ensures the smooth execution of projects that generate revenue, strengthen partnerships, and enhance SCWO’s visibility and mission impact.

The Manager works closely with the Head, Fundraising & Partnerships to implement fundraising strategies, maintain donor and partner relationships, and contribute to the organisation’s overall growth and sustainability.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Fundraising & Grant Management

  • Support the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of corporate sponsors, donors, and funding bodies.
  • Prepare sponsorship proposals, grant applications, and fundraising materials.
  • Track fundraising pipeline and assist in monitoring progress toward revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor and sponsor engagements, contributions, and agreements.

 

Fundraising Events & Campaigns

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute charity fundraising events, including logistics, vendor management, marketing, and donor relations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Membership, Direct Services, Programmes) to maximise the impact and visibility of events and campaigns.
  • Collect and analyse event outcomes to inform future initiatives and reporting to management.

 

Partnerships & Donor Engagement

  • Support partnership development initiatives by liaising with corporate partners, foundations, and community organisations.
  • Assist in donor stewardship activities, including impact reporting, recognition, and regular communications.
  • Respond to donor queries and provide excellent service to maintain strong, ongoing relationships.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognised degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 4–6 years of relevant experience in fundraising, corporate engagement, partnerships, or event management, preferably in the non-profit or social impact sector.
  • Experience in planning and executing fundraising events or campaigns is required.
  • Experience in grant writing, sponsorship proposals, or donor engagement is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
