In Her Stride

In 2023 alone, over 2,000 new cases of spousal violence were reported, a 15% increase from the year before. Behind every number is a woman trying to protect her children, to survive, or to quietly plan her escape.

In Her Stride is SCWO’s annual campaign to raise critical funds for the women and children who need a safe way out and a strong path forward.

Why We Need Your Help

Every survivor who leaves an abusive home needs more than courage. She needs a place to go, someone to guide her, and help to rebuild. That’s where we come in. But we can’t do it without funding. Help us stay ready. Help us stay open. Help her feel safe.

Pays for a survivor and her child’s weekly cost of travelling to and from work and school.

Provides a survivor with one therapy session to help her heal from the trauma of her abuse.

Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) will allocate donations based on the most pressing needs, adhering to the standards and guidelines set forth as an Institution of Public Character (IPC). All donations will receive a 250% tax deduction receipt, and donors will be acknowledged with their logo as part of the In Her Stride: Threads of Resilience campaign. All Proceeds will support SCWO’s operating cost, programmes, and services.
