Pearls of Wisdom with Prof Ivy Ng
Pearls of Wisdom is a new SCWO conversation series created to bring together women leaders and changemakers in small, thoughtfully curated gatherings.
Each session offers a space to reflect, listen, and engage in meaningful dialogue with individuals whose lives and work carry lessons shaped by experience, purpose, and conviction.
These sessions are intentionally intimate, allowing for genuine conversation, thoughtful exchange, and shared reflection in a warm and respectful setting.
About the Speaker
Professor Ivy Ng is a Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame 2025 Honouree recognised for her work in advancing Singapore’s public healthcare system. A paediatric geneticist by training, she founded the National Thalassaemia Registry and later served as CEO of KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Group CEO of SingHealth.
From the clinic to the boardroom, Professor Ivy Ng’s decades-long career reflects a rare blend of scientific rigour, compassionate care, and values-driven leadership. As a clinician, healthcare system builder, and mentor, she has shaped institutions while keeping people at the centre of every decision. Her journey offers hard-earned insights on leadership, commitment, and purpose.
In this inaugural session of Pearls of Wisdom, she will share reflections on leadership, commitment, and purpose, and the lessons that endure across seasons of change.
This session is designed as a closed-door, small-group conversation over a three-course lunch.
Rather than a formal lecture, the dialogue will be reflective and conversational, with opportunities for participants to engage directly with the speaker.
Attendance is limited to preserve the intimacy of the discussion.
