Navigating divorce can bring difficult questions about your finances, rights and next steps. Having clear, practical information can help you make informed decisions with greater confidence.
Join PPIS RED for Empowered During Divorce: Navigating Syariah Financial Claims and Legal Rights Using Digital Tools, an interactive legal awareness workshop led by Ms Nur Liyana Kamaludin, Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Syariah/Muslim Law at Titanium Law Chambers LLC.
The workshop will offer practical guidance on matters arising from Syariah divorce, including:
- Maintenance and matrimonial assets
- Financial and legal rights
- Available legal remedies and support services
- Trusted digital tools and resources for navigating the process
This session is suitable for women who are considering, undergoing or have recently completed Syariah divorce proceedings, as well as social workers and practitioners supporting women through these experiences.
As part of registration, participants will complete a short survey to help shape the workshop around the concerns and practical challenges faced by women in the community.
