Members Exclusive: Presidents' Forum

Presidents' Forum 2026
On 28 February 2026, SCWO convened Presidents and representatives at the Sophia Cooke Ballroom at YWCA for this year’s Forum. In her opening address, SCWO President Dr Seow Yian San reflected on 2025 as a year of recalibration, highlighting SCWO’s continued role as a convener and bridge across sectors. Key updates included insights from SCWO’s Mental Health Survey on women in midlife, which surfaced gaps in awareness, access, and stigma, alongside the importance of supportive environments and workplace allyship.
A key segment of the Forum was led by PwC, who presented SCWO’s strategic direction shaped through extensive engagement with member organisations, Board members, and staff. Through surveys and focus group discussions, members highlighted the need for stronger collaboration, greater visibility, capacity building, and more coordinated advocacy efforts.
These inputs formed SCWO’s refreshed Vision and Mission, alongside key strategic thrusts focused on embedding research and evidence-based decision-making, strengthening member collaboration, enhancing services for women and families in need, and amplifying SCWO’s voice as a trusted advocate for change.
The Forum also included a presentation by HeyVenus, which explored the intersection between women’s health and leadership, particularly the impact of midlife transitions on workplace experiences.
These discussions reflected a shared focus on strengthening collaboration and shaping the next phase of SCWO’s work, as the organisation continues to move forward alongside its members.
