Learning is a continuous process and as long as we keep learning, we will keep growing. The Women’s Register (WR) provides women with networking and community involvement opportunities. It is our vision that these ladies are connected and supported by fellow women in the community, given inspiration and empowerment and to take charge of their lives and lead them with positivity, compassion, courage and determination. Secret Sister Project 2018
The Secret Sister project by Women’s Register was back in 2018 by popular demand! The project was initiated in 2016 in conjunction with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. This project was launched with the intent of reaching out to women and girls residing in shelters or homes by delivering messages of strength and solidarity with Christmas gifts. In 2018, Women’s Register reached out to teenage girls and young adults residing in Gladiolus Place and Methodist Welfare Girls Residence with over 70 gifts! WR Presents: Make Your Bold Move for 2019!
If someone were to ask you at the end of 2018 to share what you have achieved in the year, will you be able to answer that question easily? We all often start off the year with various resolutions. However, many of these resolutions are not realised. There are either forgotten the moment they are made or we just do not know how to go about achieving them. Women’s Register held its first goal setting workshop on 3rd November.
