    “Search inside Yourself” Members Workshop

    SCWO was pleased to have Marion Neubronner, a learning specialist with over 18 years of experience and author of “Turning Gen Y On: What Every Leader Needs to Know about Recruiting and Retaining the Millennials”, hold a mindfulness based emotional intelligence training for SCWO members. Titled Search Inside Yourself, the training was developed and tested within Google and created by thought-leaders in mindfulness, emotional intelligence and neuroscience to make complex concepts highly practical, accessible and easily applied to the on-the-ground challenges of daily work.     SCWO Insights Series: Women and Employment with Minister Josephine Teo

    On 13th May 2019, SCWO held the 4th installment of the SCWO Insights Series, in partnership with its member organization, the NTUC Women and Family (NTUC WAF). This installment centered upon prominent concerns and matters relating to work and employment from a women-centric angle, and is the first of more collaborations between SCWO and NTUC WAF to support working women.     Understanding CEDAW

    SCWO members attended the ‘Understanding CEDAW’ session on 4 March 2019 – an educational platform that aims to provide members with opportunities to gain a deeper appreciation of CEDAW—its mechanisms and its impact on the constitution and legislation in Singapore and to provide a platform for members to share their views and clarify questions. The session was well attended, with a total of 35 participants from 19 organisations.
