Jamiyah Singapore’s 29th Exemplary Mother Award 2022 – Call for Nominations

The Exemplary Mother Award (EMA) is an annual signature event of Jamiyah Singapore. This award recognises one outstanding mother with the Presidential Shield to acknowledge her sacrifices whilst raising her family. This year, EMA will be honouring its 29th year of extraordinary mothers.

Jamiyah Singapore is embracing the 4th year of the Exemplary Young Mother Award (EYMA) in recognition of younger mothers aged 40 years and below. This special category is to acknowledge and not forget the struggles and challenges faced by young mothers in this highly competitive socio-economic environment and recognise outstanding traits of young mothers that make them steer through their challenges and daily struggles.

As Jamiyah Singapore celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, we would like to request your esteemed organisation’s assistance to invite the community that you serve to submit nominations of deserving mothers for this prestigious award.

The selection of the Exemplary Mother is made by an independent panel of judges comprising eminent Singaporean women led by Ms Claire Chiang, Co-founder and Vice-President of Banyan Tree Holdings.

This year’s EMA presentation ceremony will be held on 20th August 2022, at 3.00 pm at Swissotel, The Stamford. Her Excellency Mdm Halimah Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore, will be the Guest-of-Honour gracing the occasion.

More information is available in the poster and the nomination form. Please let us know should you require the hard copies of the poster and nomination forms. Nominations can also be made online.
