Diversity Dialogue 2017: Global Perspectives

Organised by PrimeTime Business and Professional Women’s Association

Every year in November, PrimeTime Business & Professional Women’s Association is proud to host our annual “Diversity Dialogue”.

The Diversity Dialogue takes the place of our monthly “2nd Thursday” meeting and is a highlight of our event calendar.

This year we are looking at Gender Diversity from a global perspective with 3 Ambassadors from different parts of the world.

Diversity Dialogue 2016 was on the topic “When Women Thrive, Business Thrive” and in 2015 it was on the topic of “Women on Asian Boards”. Both events were at full capacity with the event open to both male and female participation.

For our 2017 Diversity Dialogue, we are convening a panel discussion on Global Perspectives to cover the topic from a slightly different angle and to address issues such as:

  1. Women in leadership in government and corporations
  2. Programs for developing pipelines of women leaders
  3. The impact of government policies
  4. Best practices
  5. Success stories

We are delighted to announce our distinguished panel:

  • H.E. Barbara Plinkert, Ambassador of European Union Delegation to Singapore
  • H.E. Federico Alejandro Barttfeld, Ambassador of Argentina to Singapore
  • H.E. Guillaume Kavaruganda, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Singapore
  • Ms Malathi Das, Immediate Past President, Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations, Chair of the CEDAW shadow report committee

Moderator: Sian Brown, Head of Chief Controls Office, Barclays Investment Bank
