Cycling for Cycles III

Organised by Soroptimist International Singapore

Cycling for Cycles III is back this 28th October (Sunday) together with Car Free Sunday!
Cycling for Cycles is a bicycle fundraiser for volunteer malaria workers (VMWs) in Cambodia.

Who are VMWs?
VMWs play a crucial role in battling malaria in Cambodia. They provide care to malaria patients in malaria endemic villages by dispensing medication, setting up bednets, and also providing health education to increase awareness on malaria prevention. In many cases, these volunteers do not have any means of transport and often walk long distances (can be up to 20-30km) to conduct home visits and attend monthly malaria meetings at district health centres.
