    SCWO 42nd AGM and Announcement Of The 22nd Executive Board For 2022 – 2024

    The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) held its 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 25 June 2022, at SCWO Centre.      It was heartwarming to see the happy smiling faces of our members, who gathered physically for the AGM for the first time since 2019.     Pre-Budget 2022 Dialogue with Minister Indranee Rajah and SCWO Member Organisations

    To kick off the new year, SCWO invited Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, and Second Minister for Finance and National Development to our Pre-Budget Dialogue on 6th January 2022. Women leaders from member organisations and friends of SCWO joined in this highly-engaging session to discuss pre-budget issues and exchange candid views on several pertinent topics related to women.   During the dialogue, there were many suggestions and consultative recommendations raised about providing support for women in vulnerable groups, flexible work arrangements, mentorship and childcare support for women in workplaces, as well as helping women thrive in a Post-COVID world.   It was indeed a highly-participative dialogue…

    SCWO Announces Winner of this Year’s In Her Stride: Change the Lens Video Competition

    ‘Withered Lily’ has received first place in the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations annual In Her Stride event. We were honoured to have Minister of State for the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social and Family Development, Ms Sun Xueling, as the Guest of Honour on the day alongside our judges – Ms Junie Foo, Mr Alvin Goh, Ms Smiti Suri & Ms Christine Goh. The SCWO held their annual In Her Stride event, titled In Her Stride: Change the Lens, on Tuesday, 30 November 2021.
