    SCWO Holds Panel Discussion on The Power of Giving and Creating Networks in Business

    On 17th November, SCWO hosted entrepreneurs Bernadette Giam from Creative Eateries and Pek Lay Peng from SocietyA, along with President Junie Foo at a panel discussion, moderated by Eunice Olsen. The discussion was held in conjunction with SCWO’s inaugural fundraising campaign, Gift of Giving, where 6 women entrepreneurs came forward to pledge a percentage of their profits and revenue to SCWO. Creative Eateries and SocietyA were two of the six retailers participating in the campaign. Streamed on both Zoom and Facebook, the event was attended by many long-time supporters of SCWO, who showed their enthusiasm to contribute to the campaign.     SCWO Launches Gift of Giving Campaign

    The SCWO has launched its inaugural Gift of Giving Campaign. For the duration of this campaign, the SCWO will be working with six women entrepreneurs who have agreed to donate a percentage of their sales during the month of November to the SCWO and its initiatives. This means that a percentage of the amount spent by shoppers during the month of November will go towards supporting the SCWO. Alongside supporting the SCWO, patrons who shop at these stores during the campaign period will also be supporting these women-owned, locally run businesses.
