Frequently Asked Questions1. What must I bring? Your identity card and all documents relevant to your matter or case.
2. Do I have to pay? No, the legal clinic is free. However, you will have to sign an Indemnity Form stating that you will not seek any damages or claim for the advice given at the Clinic.
3. Can I change my appointment time? Yes, but you must inform the SCWO office at least 3 working days before the date of the appointment to make the change. If you miss the appointment, re-registration for another appointment is at the discretion of the office.
4. How do I prepare for my appointment? The lawyer and staff at the Clinic may not speak your language. If you wish to communicate in another language other than English, we strongly recommend that you bring along someone who can interpret for you in English.
The Clinic only provides preliminary basic legal advice and information. If necessary, our service officer will refer you to other sources for further help.
5. What does SCWO’s legal service cover? 1. Grounds of Divorce
We do not handle legal issues based on business / corporate / investment matters. Please call 6837 0611 to register.
