Part-Time Financial Controller
aidha

aidha is an award-winning, Singapore-based, not for profit organization dedicated to enriching lives through financial education. aidha helps low income workers develop savings, money management, and entrepreneurial skills to empower their future. We are currently looking for a part-time financial controller to join our team to maintain the organisation's financial records and controls. The time commitment is approximately 2–3 days a week.


Responsibilities include:


  1. Monitor and review timely submission of financial reports to management
  2. Manage processing and recording of payments and receipts
  3. Prepare and present budget and forecast reports to management
  4. Responsible for maintaining credit control records and procedures
  5. Ensure compliance with internal and financial control procedures, and all statutory requirements
  6. Analyze and interpret financial data and recommends changes to improve the organisation's systems and financial performance
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with the organisation’s auditors, banks, vendors and third parties
  8. Undertake cash flow management and planning activities

Requirements:


  1. At least 5-7 years of experience as an accountant/bookkeeper
  2. Detail-oriented and meticulous work ethic
  3. Excellent communication skills
  4. Mature and friendly personality
  5. Familiar with not for profit organizations
