Maintenance Support Central is officially open!

After 2 years, Maintenance Support Central finally opened its doors on 27 September, 2011. Our Guest-of-Honour Mdm Halimah Yacob officiated at the launch and we were pleased to welcome guest from subordinate courts, MCYS, NCSS and also our member organisations. The launch started with two personal video interviews with a single parent and a young teenager, both describing their struggles with maintenance matters. Three books (Singapore Women's Charter: Roles, Responsibilities and Rights in Marriage, The Singapore Women's Charter: 50 Questions & A Special Issue to commemorate the 50th year of the Women’s Charter of Singapore) were presented to Mdm Halimah Yacob in appreciation of addressing the event. At the end of the launch, everyone was invited to view the centre and enjoy a range delicious finger food from Torte.

Maintenance Support Central is a one-stop drop-in centre that provides support and assistance to improve the enforcement of maintenance orders. It provides for both men and women alike.
