About the Speakers

Amy Lim, Amy Lim Practice
An Affiliate of PracticeForte Advisory

Amy decided to start her own firm in order to pursue her interest in Family Law. She brings to the table a unique perspective, having survived an acrimonious and protracted divorce which was eventually finalised after 7 years. Throughout all that, she has managed to retain her sanity, sense of humour and faith in the justice system. Amy obtained her Law Degree in 2003 from NUS after giving up her childhood dream of striking the lottery and travelling the world. Her practice the past 13 years has been mainly in litigation. She likes to think she is a competent lawyer with a heart (yes, they exist!). In this regard, she also finds time to take on work for the Legal Aid Bureau. Outside work, Amy is happily married and stays busy being a wannabe Tiger Mom to her 3 children.
