Legal Awareness for Women Across Life’s Stages: Part 2

While we share and enjoy the rights we have as people residing in Singapore regardless of gender, there are life stages and experiences women go through that men do not. Therefore, it is important for us as women, to arm ourselves with the knowledge of these rights so we can best protect ourselves when necessary. In Part 2 of this series, we explore our rights as a family member especially in regards to family violence. We also discuss legal protection in our place of employment; on matters such as workplace sexual harassment and discrimination. We will also be exploring our rights with regards to ageing and succession as well as mental capacity.

These topics are not always well-received as they touch on truths we rather not dwell on. However, it is important that we learn about our rights, not only to protect ourselves but our friends and families that may need them too. Do join us for this enriching talk presented by the very engaging, Ms Malathi Das!
