Keyboard playing keeps one active by exercising the mind and hands, channels negative energy constructively, trains perseverance and re-ignites the motivation to attain higher levels of proficiency.

Teachers from Honeycomb Music Centre (HMC) will be conducting the lessons in an intimate setting with no more than 6 persons per group. The small groups allow effective interaction and learning, and also provide a cozy environment to form and/or renew friendships.

Honeycomb Music Centre (HMC)
HMC was started in 1988 by it’s current Principal, Mr Ronald Goh (B.A., M.C.M.) after his return from USA and his stint with co-conducting the Singapore Oriental Singers in achieving the Guinness Book of Records Continuous Choral Singing record during Christmas 1986 at Marina Mandarin Hotel.Mr Ronald Goh is well experienced in teaching retirees to enjoy their music activities. He will be designing a course specially for seniors who are interested in maintaining personal wellness with music learning to be held at SCWO effective January 2007. Teachers from HMC will be conducting the music lessons at SCWO. Honeycomb offers keyboard, piano, guitar, vocal and ensemble singing courses. Courses can be taken with or without exams. Music exams are conducted by London College of Music and Media (LCM), from Thames Valley University. Honeycomb is also an exam centre for the LCM music exams.
