The New2U Thrift Shop sells pre-loved clothing, bric-a-brac, books, electrical appliances and even small furniture! It services a wide variety of customers at very reasonable prices. All goods are donated, and prices start from $1.00

Run by a group of dedicated volunteers, who spend a lot of time and energy to sort, price and sell donated items, funds raised goes towards the running of The Star Shelter – a crisis shelter that provides temporary refuge for victims of family violence and those in need of protection.

While raising funds for the work of The Star Shelter, the New2U Thrift Shop is also a wonderful link with the community. Customers enjoy feel that there’s no better way to make financial contributions to a needy charity through their favourite pastime – Shopping!

Donations Needed!
Do you have items you have outgrown and no longer need or you need to repatriate and don’t know what do with your all your unwanted items? Donate them to The New2U Thrift Shop - because your trash could be someone else’s treasure.

We would appreciate if items donated are in good working condition and clean

Possible items to donate:

• Books, Stationary & Toys
• Household & Decorative items (e.g. Tea sets, Plates, Photo frames)
• Electrical Appliances (e.g. Radio, Hair dryer, TV, DVD Player, Laptops, Clocks)
• Men, Children, Ladies or Winter Clothing & Shoes
• Sports items (e.g. Roller blade, Golf set, tennis racquets)

Donations can be dropped off at the SCWO Centre, Lobby anytime. (Please label – ‘Donation for New2U’)

Volunteers Needed!

Got 4-hours to spare each week? The New2U Thrift Shop is always in need of volunteers. Volunteers can choose a day in a week which they are most comfortable with to help sort through, price and display donations in the store and act as sales-person within the store during its opening hours.
