In Her Stride 2022: We took the stage, now make a stand.
26 November 2022 – In light of the international day of eliminating violence against women, SCWO organised a concert at The Grassroots Club to uplift women who have survived domestic violence, and to inspire the public to reach out when help is needed by noticing the signs of abuse. With our Guest-of-Honour, Minister of State for the Ministry of Social and Family Development, and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ms Sun Xueling, opened the concert with a heart-warming speech detailing the efforts the Ministry of Social and Family Development has made against violence. SCWO Congratulates and Welcomes New Member: Fortune Times Women Empowerment Network (WEN)
SCWO congratulates Fortune Times Women Empowerment Network (WEN) on their successful launch on 9th December and welcomes them as its newest member! WEN is a sub-committee of the Fortune Times Media Group for women’s development. The network is a social enterprise network aimed at empowering women and networking. WEN is an initiative, where women leaders from Indonesia and Singapore, and award winners of the Women’s Empowerment Awards (WEA) can participate to contribute to society as set out in 2015 SGDs. WEN strives to bridge women in Singapore to the other countries in the region through their mission: Promoting women empowerment across education, healthcare and entrepreneurship. 2023 Tripartite Alliance Award
SCWO is a strong believer in fair employment practices and flexible work arrangements. As such, we have partnered with and supported events and initiatives organised by the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP). We are pleased to share that the Tripartite Alliance Award is open for applications for the 2023 Tripartite Alliance Award (TAA), which recognises exemplary organisations that have effectively implemented fair, responsible and progressive employment practices.
