Avan has made significant contributions as a strategic platform builder when she has scaled up FWA’s events capability as we have seen today by partnering with the corporate members and speakers circle. Under her leadership, FWA has launched over 20 large scale flagship events and lunch talks per year, and she has grown this platform from strength to strength. In 2013, she spearheaded nominating FWA for the annual AWARE award judging, which FWA was awarded for its innovative “Advancing Women in Finance Mentoring Program”. Avan was also a mentor and mentee projects facilitator for the Mentoring Program (2012-2014), where her last project was on piloting a signature “Senor Male Champion” engagement program. This program was officially launched at FWA’s 2015 IWD flagship event.
